Project: Shamrock Man 
1. Print and cut out the shamrocks template attached 
2. Cut 4 strips of paper for the arms and legs

3. Fold the strips of paper accordion style and glue onto shamrock 
4.Glue on the smaller shamrocks for hands and feet

Project: Rainbow cut and paste
  1. Draw a big rainbow on a piece of paper or print out the rainbow template attached
  2. Print out the colored stripes attached or use colored paper to make your own stripes
  3. Cut out the stripes into small pieces
  4. Paste the pieces of each color on the rainbow

Project: Leprechaun Hat
1. 
Print out the template attached
2. Color the pieces with markers and crayons
3. Cut out pieces and glue together hat on a separate sheet of paper
4. Turn it into a headband by cutting a long strip of paper, measuring to your head, and
glueing the hat onto it

1. Gather any items in your house you can find: for the base of the sensory bin water, sand, pasta, rice, cereal, etc.
2. Add spoons, bowls, shovels, funnels etc. for scooping and pouring

Activity: Taste Test Game for kids
1. Find foods in your own kitchen that are sweet, salty, sour, and bitter
2. Taste each of the foods and determine the flavor, note if you liked it or not. 
Some examples of each food are: 
- Sweet: Chocolate M&Ms, chocolate chips, raisins, honey strawberries
-
Salty: Saltine Crackers, chips, pretzels, goldfish, tortilla chips 
-Sour: lemon, pickles, cranberry juice, sour gummy worms, sour candy
-Bitter: Unsweetened chocolate, dark chocolate, broccoli, cranberries, green tea
Art: Painting with Lollipops 
1. Find some lollipops in your house or popsicle 
2.Use your sense of taste to taste the lollipop or popsicle and then paint with it on a piece of paper.

Wednesday, March 25th

Hello Ladybugs! Today we are going to be learning about our sense of sight

Activity: Playing Eye-Spy in your house
  • Pick an item in the room but do not tell anyone else playing what that item is
  • Give a clue to your item, for example say “I spy something blue” 
  • The other players will then use their sense of sight to try and guess what the item is based on the clue 
Art: Homemade binoculars 
1. Take two empty toilet paper rolls or cut a paper towel roll in half 
2. Glue the two rolls together and decorate however you may like, with markers, crayons, paper, paint, glitter etc. 
3. Tie a string on the ends of the rolls and use them as binoculars, go around the house and backyard and use your sense of sight to look through the binoculars and find objects.

​Today is the last day of the week and the last day of our five senses. Today we are going to be learning about our sense of smell.

- This game is really similar to the taste test game but you will be smelling the foods instead of tasting them. 
- Go around your house and pick out different things to smell--It doesn’t just have to be food items 
     a. Make notes of which items smelled the best to you and which ones did not smell as good

- Mix some of the spices in your cabinet with paint
